Founded to provide focused, practical environmental compliance support to businesses operating in the UK waste management sector.
Background & Business Aims
I'm Emma, founder of White Peak Environmental, an independent environmental consultancy based near Ashbourne in the beautiful surrounds of the Peak District. I established White Peak Environmental with the aim to provide value adding compliance support to waste industry clients across the UK. I have 20 years experience working in landfill, waste processing and energy recovery sectors. During this time I have worked closely with both operational teams and the Environment Agency to manage all aspects of permit compliance, whether that be routine compliance reviews, incident review, EMS, training, audits, environmental monitoring, technical monitoring data review and reporting. I am an IEMA practitioner, CIWM member and hold a NEBOSH general certificate.
I look forward to helping waste businesses navigate the practical and technical challenges that arise in day-to-day operations.

Practical knowledge of EMS documentation requirements, including management plans, working plans, operational procedures, and monitoring records.

Clear, well-structured technical reports and submissions that meet regulatory standards and communicate complex information effectively.

White Peak Environmental is based near Ashbourne in the southern Peak District. Supporting waste operators across the UK, travelling to site where on-site support is needed and also providing remote support.
